BACK TO SCHOOL DOUBLES TOURNAMENT -- The kids will be back in school, and it's time to play some tennis! Doubles play will begin at 8:30 a.m., and lunch will be served at the clubhouse at 11:30 a.m. Great way to start the new tennis season!           (Rainout date Friday, September 3)
Cost: $15 -- To be charged to your membership number.

TENNIS-A-THON (Sponsored by Black Elk Energy) benefitting St. Jude's Hospital.
This is our first annual Tennis-A-Thon to benefit St. Jude's Hospital. We will have one team per court (Up to 10 people per team). The entry fee is $1,000 per team. The plan is to play 1,000 games of tennis. Each team will play 112 games by rotating players on the team. The idea is to get individuals and/or companies to sponsor you and/or the team. If you are interested in playing, please contact Peter Farrell at the tennis pro shop as soon as possible – (281) 579-3508. The teams are already forming, and there is limited space. Even if you don’t have a team of 10, if you want to play, please call Peter. There may be a team still looking for players. Let’s make this a successful event so that it is even larger next year.

PRETTY IN PINK TENNIS TOURNAMENT – This is our way of contributing to the fight against breast cancer. All proceeds and donations go to the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure®, the most successful charity event ever created. By participating, you will experience an event that has changed the way the world views breast cancer. You can make a difference as you celebrate survivorship, honor those who have lost their battle, and most importantly, raise funds and awareness for the fight against this life threatening disease.

Renee Bosco and Dina Russell are the chairs for this spectacular event. Please contact either of these two ladies if you are interested in working on any of the committees. These ladies need all the help they can get.
